How do you know it's not the bulb? Have you swapped it with the other side? Whatever test you did, look for sliced or worn/melted wire housings. It may be arcing off something. Trace the wires back and see what you can find.

if you swapped out your bulbs to determine? if so, then its your Ballast, those can be easily purchased on ebay or dealer or here. price I think is 80.00 each.

Was their any moisture around the headlight when you swapped the bulb?

I swapped the headlight bulbs to check and the bulbs are fine its just the headlight. The fog light still works and so does the blinker light thing works too. Its only the actual headlight bulb

Dont be surprized if it comes back on after a day or 2 .... mine did the same thing earlier this winter so I ordered new bulbs and ballast. The day after I ordered everything (2days after the light went out) it came on again and hasnt went out since. Now I have a box full of back-ups.

But yea like they said I would replace tha ballast.....

It could be either the ballast itself or the ignitor (the wire and plug that goes to the bulb).

Check to make sure that everything is plugged in before you order anything. There's a plug going to the ballast, and if you take the ballast off, you'll see where the ignitor plugs into the ballast.

I'd bet the bolts came loose enough to let water in and the ballast got soaked. If the ballast got soaked, shake the water off, wait a few days for it to fully dry and try it again to see if it's burnt out or not. Either way, I'd order new ones. I'll post more info on the ballasts when I get home from work

1- swap bulbs
2- make sure your ignitors are locked (snapped correctly)
3- check ballast

update on the situation... tonight at my friends i was sitting in my car talking to him and i accidenaly turned off my lights and when i turned them back on the headlight flickered for a few seconds then turned on for maybe 5 seconds then flickered and turned off. Then when i got home i was just turning on and off my lights to see if i can get it to go on again. i tried about 12 to 15 times it turned on maybe 4 times but every other time it would flicker then go out.

You have a crack in the housing somewhere and water is entering the housing. Unfortunately the ballast is at the very bottom of the headlight where the water likes to collect, it will short the light out and then if left on long enough cook the expensive ballast. I wouldn't try to turn it on anymore, remove the headlight and dry it out and find the leak.

It's a good excuse to upgrade to NEW projectors.
