G35 coupe 2005 compression rod bushing crack

Dealer wants to charge $420 US to repair. Is it something I can likely get done more cheaply? I'm in Las Vegas area.

From: Los Angeles.
Whiteline makes replacment bushings that will last much longer than the oem rubber piece included with the part for $400+

usually they're about $60 a pair... but you'll need to find a shop with a hydraulic press to get the bushing into the arm... good luck

This should also be a recall. It's obvious that the old version is prone to cracking.. Nissan is since "modified" the current compression rod / bushing..

This should be a free replacement. I mean, the G has way too many little issues.

I have this as well, my mechanic couldn't find the part in the system though.
