you really think so? i mean i have a 5at G and im looking to upgrade the exhaust...it will give it better gas milage and sound better right? .....im not trying to thread jack but what you guys suggest as something i should do first? performance is not my priority mainly looks really. i was thinking about getting the 06 projectors for my 05....any input on that?

I was being sarcastic, that guy is an idiot. To answer your question, I had almost every bolt-on available on my last 5AT, it sounded and handled great. Although not sure where you got the thing about increased gas mileage, if anything it's going to get worse because you'll want to punch the gas to hear the car.

I'd get 06 projectors, it's one of the best exterior mods you can do. After that if you want to get something performance oriented, get MD 5/16" spacer and a QUALITY exhaust. I don't wanna get on my soapbox, but don't buy cheap knock-offs like X02 or KCR!!

Enjoy modding your 5AT, I know I did!

yea i find it pretty ridiculous how people try to look down on Auto's. its easy to drive a stick...i learned when i was like 15...i can understand if it was like a corvette or GTO or something made just to GO fast...because obviously your priority is to go the fastest possible and be able to change gears at your command. yea i think projectors are going to the first thing i do. they look alot nicer.....then i was thinking about a transgo valve body upgrade... ive heard alot of good things about it and heard its a nice upgrade for a 5at....

Finally, someone who agrees with me. But you were more subtle about it.

I'd love to know where you get projectors for an '06 sedan. I have an '06 and no projectors.

6MT for sure.

I dont find it a pain in the city, unless im trying to do something while driving and i have to keep reaching for the shifter.

just think of it this way, if you get an auto you will want a MT WAYYYY more than if you had a MT and wished you had an auto bc of traffic.

MT's are so much when if you drive spirited. get an MT you wont regret it

simple answer, if your going to be flooring it everywhere and love the sound of your exaust when you leave the house every morning, manual, but if you adore the looks more and focus more on the luxury aspect of the car and not the speed, auto

You can't adore the looks and luxury of the car with a manual?

I wasn't aware that having an AT prohibits you from being able to floor your car or enjoy the sound of your exhaust. I learn a new thing everyday .

I personally would never buy an auto. They are more fun to drive, better gas milage, and if you ever want to mod the car MT is the way to go.
