Just copied a post I've done before:

Now is hard to choose between auto and manual, I live in Brazil I've been driving manual cars my whole life. I love it specially because I like feeling the torque and also to be able to control the car.

But the auto version has tiptronic, which for me is a new thing and besides I've never driving a semi auto car, it's seems to be pretty interesting.

You guys who have G35 auto, can you push it to the limits?

Last but not least, does anyone from Orlando Fl here? I'm moving to there, and it'll be nice meeting owners.

Thanks again.

Read through the thread. Apart from all the bitching, there's some good facts that will help you out.

auto=comfortable and ease of driving
manual=more performance and more fun

Please end this post please. I have a 5at and it sucks compare to 6mt. no matter what you do it will not compare to a 6mt. If you want an automatic car with ***** get the gtr. one of the fastest shifting trannies in the world.

Yes, the autos have less power and are geared differently. Plus the tranny doesn't shift nearly as fast. Even though it has tiptronic, its still an automatic.

my buddy has a 5AT g35 and when he rides in my 6spd g35, he thinks the car is so much faster, but thats because i shift at 5000+ even in normal driving.
I will never drive an automatic, because I love the feeling of driving a with a clutch
To the post that said the new "sports cars" have automatics now. Well thats true, but those automatics are also like double clutch or 7spd or something advanced. The 5At is a mistake and anyone who drives a manual gets in my car and realizes what they are missing out on
