CRAPPY NISSAN DESIGN. Had my seat leather and foam replaced on both seats. LEXUS/Toyota last for decades, look at the interior of a lexus sc300 from 1996ish, everything is structurally sound, except for some worn leather which is normal.

Who ever designed these seats never thought of how it would function and work in 2-5 years. The design of the plastic actually cuts and wears the leather when the foam squishes down.

Replacing it once shoud be more than enough. It is now becoming a chore! Infiniti has been known for very poor quality interior materials. I've been looking at the Hyundai Genesis sedan with amazement at the workmenship and materials of their interiors. Why doesn't Infiniti take a few lessons from Hyundai?
