I SeaFoamed!

I SeaFoamed!
So I decided to run some SeaFoam into my engine even though it only has 34,000 miles on it. I figured I would do it before the warranty ran out in case it knocked some crap loose and gave me problems. Also, I figured it would be a good idea to do it now since I drive it pretty hard most of the time.
Anyway, I used the vacuum hose from the brake booster to slowly suck up about 1/3 of a can of SeaFoam. Then I replaced the hose and turned off my car. About 10 minutes later I started it up and revved it for a while and it smoked pretty good for about 2 minutes. Then I went and drove it hard for about 10 minutes.
Results:
It honestly seems to run better now. Seems like it revs a little smoother and MIGHT even seem slightly more powerful. I also think it sounds a little better; but that could just be my imagination... I dunno.
I definitely recommend it! I plan on keeping my G for a long time and I feel like I just added to its life by cleaning the engine some. Good preventative maintenance, if you ask me.

ya, i just had a fuel injector cleaning done myself, had the nissan dealership do it because they had a special on it. They also gave me a fuel system dryer and a can of fuel injector cleaner/octane booster. it was by a company called BG or something
I honestly didn't really notice to much of a difference. But i just got my car and its like -10 right now, so i have no idea how much effect it has, i did it as a maintenance thing, i will probably have it done again in like 20K miles or about 2-3 years.

I found this guys video very explanatory
The only thing that puzzles me is the fuel tank application.
In few other videos they constantly mention that if you put it in oil, make sure you do the oil change right after. What about fuel. How much fuel do you have to have in the tank when you put seafom in it?

This is the DIY I followed as it seemed to be the most comprehensive one I found.

The only thing I didn't do is the throttle body, because I didn't understand where the "fan blades" are in the throttle body.

With an 86K mile engine, I would definitely recommend it. I had 34K and it blacked out the sky.
