Cluth/trans issues

05 6spd coupe 42k miles 380hp.

I think my clutch may be going.. First gear is fine, however, when I shift into 2nd and hit the gas while completely off the clutch the car reves about a 1k before it finlly catches and starts to pull. I'm only at around 10-15% throtle.. Rpms seem to rev higher with more throtle being applied before catching..

If it's a stock clutch and you are running close to 400 RWHP, yeah, it's time. Jim Wolf Technology has a great clutch pack for this for less than $800.

That's....^....not a good sign, defiantly time for a new clutch! Where'd you get the extra HP from TT or Supercharger?

Also I'm taking off the short headers with the test pipes and going with the long tube headers from Megan racing. Heard good things about them. And I went back to the 2.5" dual exhaust from the 3" single exhaust.

Can you run cats with long tube headers or do they take up all the room?

The long tube headers will completely eliminate ur cats and bolt right to you Y-pipe or dual exhaust, which ever you have. They are a direct bolt so they will end right were your cats would thus no other modification is needed. What you will need to do is trick the computer so ur service light don't turn on. They have the trick system on eBay for $5 each or so. You will need 2 of them, one per each header. It's a simple screw in and ur done, 5min at most for the trick system install.
