Well, I finally made it

Hello all. New member and new owner as of today! I picked up my 06 DG Coupe with 6spd manual and a cherry 20k miles. I have gone through an array of cars in my short life. Just recently I had an 07 Civic Si which the fiance was so nice to take off my hands so I could get my dream. Before the civic, I had an 03 350z and after I got rid of it, I couldnt stop thinking about it. I drove the Civic for three years and finally found a deal to good for me to pass up on a G. It definately satisfies my lust for the Z I had, with a bit nicer interior and a backseat to boot. Well thats my story, just saying Hi really and look forward to learning lots about my new baby.
Cheers

Congrats man, you'll love it, this is coming from a fairly recent G owner himself.

you probably already know a lot about the G from your old Z, do you find it handles a lot different?

Yea Imma be watching OC very closely, but I've done that on all my cars just to be cautious. Couldnt really get to into the handleing b/c of course, the day I pick it up we get freak ice storm. But from what I remember, the G definately has a heavier feel but still wanted to squat and go, I loved it to say the least.

So I read through the manual, but couldn't find what I was looking for and don't even know how to google search it. I got my seat position saved to position one, however, everytime I leave the car and come back it does the seat movement to allow easier access to backseat..... How can I disable that, I couldnt find the step by step in the owners manual (possibly overlooked). No one will be riding in the back except in dire situations lol. Any help I'd love. Ty for the warm welcome!

Welcome to DRIVER & CONGRATULATIONS....=)

Yes, you did make it and with a really low mileage G, Congratulations! Not sure about your seat issues since I don't have that option. If you can't fix the seat to operate like you want try www.infinitihelp.com, there's very little they can't answer....G/L

Its mostly 05's but you can call the dealership with the VIN and they can look it up for you. My '06 is perfectly fine with its oil.
