Exclamation Some one hit and run

i got off work today and found out someone hit and run on my G on a parking lot "parked it far away from everybody else". i think one of the associate from my work did it and ran away, i called the police and the police did the report. the police said they cant do anything because the accident was on private property , tomorrow iam going to take a look at the camera, let see who did it and hope i get a good view of my car . so i don't have to spend my money on a new bumper. any one know how much it take to buy a new bumper painted? or i should get a aftermarket bumper painted? .

exact same thing happened to me in my driveway! except mine was the left side. and it cost me $350 to repair and repaint, but I didn't go to a really good bodyshop lol.. It's around $700 to repair/repaint or $800-900 to replace and repaint

Good luck with the camera man.

You can get an OEM bumper used for like $200 and any shop shouldn't charge more than $300 to paint it. If the shop says they'll pop it out and respray it, look elsewhere.

if you have a full coverage ins policy and a police report something like this should be fixed with $0 out of your pocket and no effect to your policy.

Unless you have a deductible on your comprehensive policy.

It can be heated up and popped out. It will prob take a little putty to smooth everything out. If done right you wont be able to tell a difference

I got mine popped out and you can't tell anything was done so I don't think you need to replace if you don't want to.

deff could be pulled out.

Just make sure you heat up the paint with hair drying so it does not crack and flack off, don't burn it tho.

I've had bad experience with poppin' bumpers, that mixed with my experience of infinitis soft *** paint makes me hesitant to suggest it. But if other have succeeded then go for, beats buyin' a bumper!

The dent is too deep and the creases are too sharp. It can be popped out be heating up and shrinking the stretched part by heating and cooling but will need putty to hide all that and respray. Trust me done it many of times.
