What do you think of these wheels?

I really am set on these rims. My plan is to go with the 20x9F and 20x10R with 245x35F and 275x30 tires. The overall weight will be 55lbs for each front and 60lbs for each rear.

I'm wondering if anyone has any information on them as far as overall quality....Ive heard from many that 20" rims is kind of pushing it with the g35 because of the weight of most 20's, would this really slow me down all that much compared to a 19" wheel set up?

If anyone has any information about these please fill me in!

Here is a thread with some nice pictures, and some pictures ive found below..

I like the multi-spoke design that the rim has (if I didn't buy my G with the rims that it currently has, I would get a set like those). The only think that I would consider is if you plan on blacking out any parts of the car. If you plan on smoking the taillights, painting the rear diffuser, or using other parts black, look into getting them in black (but keep the polished lip)

I have 20" Lexani LSS-5, and I don't think that it slows the car too much. I had 19s before the 20s, and I didn't notice too big of a difference. But in reality, how much of a difference will the extra 1" make? If you want a drag car/performance machine, these obviously aren't the right rim for you. But if you want a fly looking G, then they're perfect.

Either way, they look good

20s are going to slow the car down no matter how much they weigh. If you run 20s and then take them off and put an 18, you'll feel it right away.

I love the penta, I love most axis wheels in general. But really, this isn't a 400hp sports car, the car will still feel snappy it just won't keep up with your executive sport luxury vehicles, but it didn't really before.

For daily driving these wheels are great, I say buy em.

The 20" wheel/tires look good but the weight hurts acceleration, stopping ability and ride quality. And then there's tire wear, you'd think taller tires would wear better....not!

Is there a dyno test somewhere that proves how much a stock g35 differs with different wheels size/weight? I really dont think it would make that much of a difference.. please someone PROVE me wrong.

They make a BIIIG difference in power between my 20" pentas and factory 18's. With the 18's I can break the rear end loose easily, with the 20's not so much...

its not the power to the wheels, its the weight added to the car.

its like you running a lap then running the same lap with a 20lb backpack. your times wont be the same and you'll be more exhausted. In other words you'll be slower and get less mpg.

the heavier wheel/tire combo will also increase stopping diastances.

Wheels add rotating mass. They don't take away from horsepower, so you'd never see any difference on a dyno.

Old school guys stand by the belief that 1lb of wheel removed = 10 lbs of weight reduction.

So if you are adding 32lbs (8 per wheel/tire combo), thats like adding 320 lbs of dead weight to your car.

Not huge, but enough to slow you down a tenth or two.

FYI. The combo the OP is asking about weighs about 46 lbs more than OEM Rays 19s total, so ~460lbs.
