I just love ow people react to "no"
So this might be a semi rant, but i have a legitimate question at the bottom. So its friday night, at my friends party(which was invite only, no exceptions basically) and I'm inside and i get a call from one of my "friends" and he tells me how he's outside. I had not called him the entire day, a couple of weeks actually, so i ask him what he meant. He said that he was driving through town and saw my car and wants me to get them in.I told him that the guy didn't want anymore people and that he doesnt even know the host. He doesnt get mad but sounded kind of annoyed. Next thing i know one of the people inside tell me that theres a few guys outside saying that they know me and want in, then they are kindly asked to leave. About 30 min pass by and next thing i know my remote for my alarm(python 991) goes off saying that the shock sensor was triggered. I go out with another one of my friends and see that my driers side front fender had dents where it was punched/kicked and a couple of lovely lugis on my window(i tried to get pictures but they wouldnt show up well). here's the best pic i could find
Its hard to notice but there are about 4 dents on top and one on the bottom, although theyre not extremely deep, they are enough for people to keep asking me if a van backed up into me or if someone went to town with it w/ a baseball bat, the picture doesn't show the damage well at all. i know it might be hard to tell but are these types of things easily fixable?
Just noticed, misspelled "how" in the title, if mods could change that, that would help
Update: So something came up, a couple of people that passed by before this happened said they saw 2 other guys by my car when the alarm went off and left after(not the people i initially thought) now i'm not sure exactly what to do.

just file it with your insurance as a comprehensive vandalism loss..you dont have a comp deductible do you? if not you could probably have those worked out by a pdr guy..(paintless dent repair)..oh and if your worried a comp loss wont affect your insurance premiums.
i do think your insurance goes up with that. a buddy of mine hit a no U turn sign in the middle of the median and dented his bumper, idk if called insurance and claimed hit n run but his insurance did go up.
if his insurance went up it was considered a collision loss..I work for an insurance company. Just call your Insurance company and tell them what happened they way the loss should be handled is as a comp loss..there are a lot of variables for insurance premiums but if you don't have a lot of claims a comp loss wont hurt you..it would be like a tree falling on your car its not your fault so you don't get surcharged
If you want justice, take your "friend" to court and make him pay out of pocket. Just make sure you've got a witness to back up your story. If you want it fixed hassle free just go through your insurance.

oh and just an fyi..if you file with your insurance and file a police report and verify the person that did it your insurance company will gladly send his information to a collection agency so he will either pay or end up with screwed credit. we do that for accidents when other people dont have insurance we just send them to collections for the damages.
It's different when your car is legally parked and something happened to it.
The insurance sees it as a driving mistake your friend made (he misjudged something and hit a sign) versus the OP's car was just in the wrong place the wrong time (not his fault).
To the OP, definitely don't hang out with that D-bag anymore. And if possible take him to court and have him fix the damages (even better, let your insurance do it).
Sucks. Sorry to hear.
In a situation like this you sure find out quick who your friends really are. If you have a paintless dent removal shop in your area they usually charge $65 to $75 per pannel to remove all dents. Pay the $75 and hand the bill to your friend letting him know he has two choices, pay it now or you'll turn it over to your insurance/police. This will hurt him more than kicking his azz....

PS, hopefully you didn't clean the lugis off your window. File a police report and see if they can swab the lugis for DNA.
You have probable cause to get a subpoena for the punk's DNA (since you wouldn't let him into the party and the damage happened shortly after) and see if it matches the lugis. If it matches, you have proof that it was them and you can stick it to them.

Thanks guys, I'm going to take it too a paintless dent removal shop just to get it out, i'm glad that there is no paint damage. As far as getting "justice" someone told me it was the group of guys he was with that did it to my car, and not actually him, but i still blame it on him because he should have just left after the phone call. i might take Gary's idea because everyone that was with me thought it was him so i have "witnesses" if need be, but part of me just wants to avoid him at all costs, we'll see how it turns out, thanks guys
