Exaust sound
Exaust sound
I'm sure this has been asked before....
Why does the sedan exaust not sound as good as the coupe?
Shouldnt the sedan have the same noise?....i mean...even the FX has a better exaust sound!!

Re: Exaust sound
Sedan have the special filter to reduce the noise... Sedan is a family car, not a sport car.

Re: Exaust sound
The coupe has an entirely different muffler than the sedan. Its even oriented differently. The sedan muffler is oriented straight out the back, in line with the exhaust pipe. The coupe muffler is turned sideways going along the back of the rear bumper, with a single inlet pipe, and two outlet pipes.
The muffler on the Coupe is a Nissan design, but it has a special name on it, called Astro pulse or something like that. I love the sounds of the Coupe exhaust though.
