Nice/Clean Computer/DVD/NAV Upgrade

Re: Nice/Clean Computer/DVD/NAV Upgrade
Mani its still too hot for my likes...i've had my cpu nearly overheat (P3-867mhz) because it was 85F degrees in the room (at night), the cpu was 70C, then the motherboard alarm went off and i shut her down right away man
My theory is that the heat inside the case exponentially increases as the heat outside the case rises.
And as for dual fans, well, i have 4 case fans...fans do not cool anything down, they just recirculate the air, and if that air is hot, then its just blowing hot air into the computer...thus overheating...dunno man i guess we'll see, worse case is fried CPU and RAM,,,, motherboard and other components should be fine
Just Make sure you install Motherboard Monitor (dunno the latest version) and have it running in the background...
I will try to do this Mod sometime in May or June, temps get up to 90 here with 90% humidity (not good!) by then.

That's one plus ot have a mini CD in the cabin: when your using the computer, the cabin will be air conditioned...
Oh well, you can always fold down the rear seats and have the climate control on 60.....
or better yet, run a water-cool kit with its own compressor connected to the car.... that way it'll stay cool no matter what....
