Performance would be minimal, it will sound a little meaner.
I have test pipes with my nismo. It is definitely a lot louder- make sure you run o2 sims if your nonfoulers don't get rid of the CEL.
That way you can pass emissions like I did

You will have some gains, you need supporting mods to really get the max.

If your FI you will see some pretty nice gains.

A full dual exhaust with test pipes will get you maximum gains. Take a look at the Motordyne ART pipes. Nice sound, very pricey though. Your pockets may be deeper than mine. Just take a search around!

Good luck,
Sean

We have noticed 3-4hp and 10-12ft lbs with test pipes on an otherwise stock G. It will make a noticeable difference in low rev torque, which is where it counts the most.
You will have to deal with a lot of resonation and +1 on the non-fouler comment.

If you live in an area where you don't have to deal with emissions tests the best/newest item on the market is MotorDynes ART Pipes. From their design I don't believe you'll have "Rasp" issues. If you need to keep it legal go with quality HFC's like Berk's, way less restriction than OE cats.... And about the same price as the test pipes.
