Caliper help

I want to have that red caliper look for my G. Something like this.
Buying original Brembo calipers are too expensive, so I purchased a set of Brembo caliper covers on eBay and I was unsatisfied with how they fit. http://cgi.ebay.com/Red-Brembo-Look-Brake-Caliper-Cover-Front-Rear-4-PCS-/120557589458?cmd=ViewItem&pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1c11cad3d2Without having to actually paint my calipers red with paint (I really would prefer not do to this), what other alternatives do I have to achieve this look? Are there any other covers out there that fit better? What are my options? Are there even anyother options? Maybe somebody knows about a product that I don't.

I'd just wait for a good deal on a used set of brembos either off a 03-04 G or a 350z. The brembo covers are bad. Unless you track your car a lot, the stock brakes are great IMO.

Brembo covers are pointless. Just save up and get the real thing.

Covers are useful to give off the Brembo effect, not to mention the plethora amount of money you'll be saving. Nothing is being modified to the actual calipers so keeping the stock caliper performance is a plus.

LOL I honestly NEVER thought I'd see this on this forum. I thought it was safe to assume the ricer count in this forum was insignificant. I assumed wrong........ Either get the real thing or stick with what you have. Either that or buy a caliper paint kit as someone suggested above. If you do get the caliper covers.. Don't post pics..

We understand that you want your car to look better. But nobody here is going to recommend glue-on caliper covers, fake air scoops or any other ridiculous items that will classify your car as "rice". If you want the BBK look, there's only one way to do it.

Just paint the calipers if you want them to stick out.

All we are saying is don't be lazy and cheap. You bought a classy car and if you are going to mod it do that with good taste. You can get a G2 caliper paint kit for around $40 and make your calipers look great with a little time and patience. Probably less than the tacky covers you bought. You end up looking like a poser by adding those covers to make it appear you have Brembo brakes when you really don't. Is that how you operate in the rest of your life?

Remember too you posted in a public forum. There are a lot of really good people on this board that take great pride in their cars and when someone comes on here and starts talking about doing cheap azz **** to their cars we get a little touchy. Sorry you feel picked on.

I actually bought a caliper paint kit, and painted them myself. There is no way I would put on Brembo brake covers, and not really have brembo brakes. I would feel dirty, and throw myself in a river, but whatever floats your boat.
