almost time for new brakes
I would actually recommend going after 4 pot Wilwood setup. I recently put it on my car and I am in a fairly similar situation. It gives a lot more stopping power, but also isnt a hardcore brake system that costs mega $. I got a deal on mine and only paid 750 for calipers, drilled rotors, pads, SS lines shipped to my door.... brand new
im thinking about upgrading to brembo's also. 1800$ eh. is this something u can do ur self? or are u better off talking it to a pro. i've change brake pads b4, but just the pads on my old car which was a celica.
Cost efficient way would be new brake pads and stainless steel brake lines IMO. If you want to also go for a new look you could do drilled an slotted rotors but painting/new caliper covers would be waste cause it might look cheap.

Based on your stated needs. Hands down your best option.
