Unfortunately it looks like you have to replace the entire rear window as the weather stripping is a "part" of it. I'm having the same problem. I called my dealership and the parts are not cheap. Youre looking at around $1k to get new weather stripping all around. And that back to black stuff does not work very well either (i tried it.)

okay i did this on my BMW 540i when i had it and it did wanders. go out to a home depot or lowes and buy a can of plastidip. remove your weather strips or whatever you want to have refinished. place them on the graound a spray 3 even coats of plastidip on the peices. let them dry and put them back on the car. plastidip is a rubbery material that will cling onto whatever you spray it on and make it look brand new. it is very durable and if it does eventually fade you can remove it with ease.
