Coilover + F/R Camber Install Today

Alright guys, got my rear fenders rolled this morning and I'm installing my coils and rear camber kit all at the same time this afternoon. Question is: should I put the front camber kit on as well? I have SPC front A-Arms and SPC rear camber kit.

I'm going to drop my car pretty low and want to know if it's worth the trouble and clunking noise to install the SPC front A-Arms also...?

Or should I leave the stock A-Arm, deal with the camber and just make sure my toe gets back into spec when I get an alignment sometime towards the end of next week?

At the end of the day I understand that this is just a matter of opinion on whether or not I care to deal with the SPC a-arm banging against my front fenders, but I would still like to hear some outside thoughts.

Thanks all,

Matt

If you're going to slam your car, do not use the SPC arms. Go with SPL or 350evo if you can find them. That being said I have no front wheel gap on aftermarket 19s and have not had a single issue with the SPC arms. You have to be lower than that for it to be an issue.

I have the SPC front and rear camber kits. I don't have any issues with the front A arm hitting the fender. I'm not sure what my drop in the front is but the fender is slightly lower than the top of the tire. I would recommend putting them on. If the spacers are used there won't be any problem with the VDC.

Hmmmm.... So maybe I just do it. I guess if it makes noise I can in turn just remove them. I hadn't planned on installing the spacers, but maybe I should do them too.

Yeah def spacers. Btw Matt what part of Charlotte are you from? I am heading home(go to school at Va Tech) for speed street this weekend and plan on painting my calipers and hopefully installing my h-techs if they got them in the mail yet.

I'm actually a little north of Charlotte in Mooresville. I'll be at speed street on Saturday and/or Sunday. I have 350z h-techs on 350z front struts that will be coming off the car should you want them instead of having to mess around with a spring compressor... Just an idea.

Installing the rear spring perch... I take out the rubber cone piece and then how do I mount the spring perch. FYI- OEM style rear coilover setup. I don't see how the spring perch mounts up to where the oem rubber cone was mounted... LMK

Alright well I have everything done except for the front driverside coilover. I can't get the damn oem strut/spring out! I've tried f-ing everything... Just won't move. I'm about ready to cut off the lower mount of the strut and call it a day. Passenger side went flawlessly. Took me maybe 30 mins to get the oem out and the new coil in. I gave up last night at this point...

I've tried removing both sway bar end links and raising them both up to take em out, but they won't budge either. I can get the nut off, but the endlink won't come out.

Alright well here's a crappy cell phone picture. This is as soon as I finished. I need to adjust the rear height a little now because those springs settled a little over the weekend. I'll be removing the SPC a-arms this evening and adjusting the rear camber arms to bring the rears closer to -1. The SPC a-arms just don't cut it for being slammed. And yes, I understand I need spacers... The super rozza's offsets aren't low enough for a slammed coupe. Anyway, don't be too harsh on my crappy pictures of my dirty car. After I'm finished my adjustments I'll be cleaning up the car and taking better pictures. K2 front will be coming as well, but I wanted to gauge where my OEM front was after the drop.

Yes it is. If you have basic wrenching skills you should have no issues with the install.
