test pipes or cold air intake

with one should i go with.. ? what are the benefits of each

Factory intake is pretty good, you wont gain much if any from Aftermarket. Test pipes will give you power since the OEM cats are very restrictive but then you will gain rasp.

The factory intake is more like a NO-air intake!

ok then I guess I am misinformed. I always thought it was lol.

It has a air collector on the side and has that opening, and the air that gets pushed when you drive from the space between the latch and the hood is what air gets into there :O.

Guess I am wrong

just so you all know, by definition a CAI is one that draws cooler air from outside of the engine bay, usually from somewhere in front of of the radiator. since the OEM snorkel does that...

you are correct in the fact that CAI is away from the engine bay.....but technically the stock intake is still in the engine bay = hot air.

edit: but i know the stock intake is best for HP

the filter is in the bay but it's sealed, the air come's from outside the bay... i guess you could call is a short-ram too, LOL
