There are templates out there you can buy which will align the badges basically for you. Other than that, automotive adheasive tape works fine to stick them back on. Or, if you are lazy, buy the kits from the dealership which come pre-aligned on a piece of paper backing.

Fixed.

If your going to sell it soon, why bother? Also IMO a debaged trunklid really has no effect on the re-sale value.

^ If I saw a car that was debadged, I would assume it's been modded. And if its been modded, I would assume the car's been beaten. So IMO, a debadged car would hurt it's resale value.

I highly doubt very few people think the same. 100% of the time I see a debadged car, it's also either lowered, has aftermarket wheels, or some other mod done to it. Has your grandfather ever been into cars? It's hard to imagine someone who's not into cars go through the trouble of debadging it.

Yeah, I can see your point of view on that. But that would apply only to those that are into modding cars. The average person probably wouldn't even noticed until someone else pointed it out or they were parked next to a similar car.

@ 2:33 "When we first sold the car, the car did have a badge on it. For some reason, there is a phenomenon of people taking off these Infinti and G35 emblem off. I really don't know why".. I have the letters, and I can order some new ones if that's needed..

haha

I would love it if there was some kinda template out there to get the letters back on later in the exact spot.. I debadged my G but I have the same feelings as Silencer.

When I was looking for a G if I saw a debadge, clear corners , maybe tinted windows ( like super dark ) I shyed away from it. Not that it has anything to do with it being beatin on but it means the person who owned it coulda dicked around with stuff. And I wanted a fresh OEM never touched car. So I get both sides just wouldn't ever buy a modded car unless there was some way to truly know nothing else was done ever.

^ I felt the same way when I was looking to buy my car, I never took a second look at cars I thought have been modded. Took me a couple months to find the exact G i wanted. 7k miles from a rich guy that had it on lease and only used it as a weekend car, stock interior, stock exterior, no window tint, immaculate paint.

So Silencer, since you've modified your '07 has it been abused? My attitude is that if someone spends all the $ to UPGRADE their coupe it's not going to get thrashed!
