I am getting a very pronounce click in the tranny when I shift out of Fifth to nuetral or any lower gear. It's not really loud, but with the music off I can hear it. Any suggestions.

I have heard of this with other people. Sorry I can't help but it appears to be a known problem.

 

Yes. It sounds as if it's in the boot itself, not the actually tranny. If that makes sense.

Mine does not do it, but I have less than 1500 miles on mine. At what mileage did you notice it?

Take it to the dealership and have them look at it. If it happens every time (i.e. you can make it happen for a dealer service rep) they should do something about it.

all i can say is...i have 3,900 miles on mine and im on my 2nd tranny..soon to be on my third.
