I personally have used the red tops and had one last 7 years before having to replace it with a new one.

Have a optima Red top in my car. I play my system off my battery until my amp over heats (i need a new amp), and my car still starts after wards.

Highly recommended.

GREEEEAATTT! I'll bite, my car has an aftermarket amp and I will add another this Fall, when my sub is installed. What kinf of warranty do this batteries have? If they have a seven or eight year battery I'm set.

I just replaced my battery with a yellow top. You cannot go wrong with optima.

I believe the warranty is one year after a valid volt test.

I would also suggest getting a power cap for your system.

Costco...they're cheap and made by the same company that makes Interstate batteries.

I replaced the last two duralast batteries in less than 12 months....I will most likely buying a red top Optima for less weight (16 lbs.)
