^^ Well you wanted input, so we gave it to you. If you don't like the issues that the car has, then perhaps you should be looking at a different vehicle. Maybe the G just isn't for you.

true enough, I guess I know what I'm getting myself into. Now if I happen to pick up a pile of **** I have no one to blame but myself. Well thanks for the input.

My car has always started when I crank it over. Engine wise it's very reliable.
Never had any driving issues. Just stupid little things like window motors and door locks.
Which were more of a problem for early model G35's (03-05) than later model (06-07).
If I totalled mine, I'd get another one.

I'm noticing one thing, I'm starting to look at some G's and I'm finding some 05's with 10 spoke rims and others with 5 spoke rims. Are the 10 spokes an upgrade and if so is there a size difference between the two? Unfortunately I prefer the 10 spoke alot and they seem harder to find.

Every car has a problem. There is no perfect car...Go in any model specific forum and you will see the problems associated with them. I used to have acura cl and people said they are very reliable and have no problems, however, they have transmission problems...Even toyotas have minor problems, GMs and Fords have their own issues...

If you buy a car according to how many problems they have, you will never find a car!

Better get a Canondale! llol jk

^^ He's right. No car is perfect.

We're not trying to discourage you from purchasing a G, seeing as how we're all G owners here and we gather on this forum because we love our cars. But at the same time, as owners, the majority of us know what issues we have to deal with and how to fix them, or at least pay attention to potential problems. Every car needs good preventive maintenance, that's our responsibility as vehicle operators.

But again, if the list of problems that the G has isn't just too much for you, then again, maybe you should be looking for a vehicle with less problems that is within your budget.
