I drove many from Tacoma, WA, which is about 30 miles south of Seattle, to Los Angeles with a Toyota Corolla that cost me less than 200 each way. Now if you take your G35, being a 6 banger, along with friends then you are probably looking at double that . As far as getting to Seattle, you would probably save more with flying, plus you are not putting about 1700 miles into your car one way.

In that case, yah you will save more with driving since your friends are pitching in for gas. Atleast with driving the G, you will get there in style.

Road trip... $55=full tank=400mpg freeway miles. Total mileages from CA to WA = 1300miles (or more) If 400mpg then cost around $250 for gas on one way trip (not counting traffic) haha...

If I were you I would take a plane. prob will cost like 100-200 but you know what, spending like 200 is def worth it because you'd be putting quite a bit miles on your car. personally I hate driving long distances (actually makes me hate my car lol) and it's safer to fly than to drive.

Alright, so cost of gas is in the neighborhood of $500 round trip then consider food for the three of you along with lodging coming and going. Doesn't make sense to drive straight thru especially 3 guys in a coupe. Take da plane out of L.A.....
