while i know loaners are the base of base models i have to say i really dont like this car at all...

It reminds me of what BMW did when they went from the E36 to the E46 model, AKA take the sport out and dial in the comfy coziness. (real translation, make it more of a girls car). I feel like the interior isn't any better then a lightly optioned ford fusion. the transmission on the other hand held gears for a long time and seemed ok for an auto-tragic.

Also it definitely feels faster than my car.

Yeah the 3.7 is larger than out 3.5 so faster does seem reasonable.

........sorry to laugh but if you went to Infiniti for service you paid for the loaner. If you don't think so check the prices you paid at Infiniti against what the same service would have cost you at Nissan. My experience is there's a 30% difference, you'll know better next time.

I'm currently driving a g37 loaner. I actually like it over all. It's quick and comfortable. Granted it's stripped of options. And he'll yeah these prices are expensive.

yea but do they give u bottles of water at nissan ?! haha I test drove a g37s coupe (6mt) and I couldnt agree with you more. Im not entirely certain if or how much the interior differs from trim level to trim level but I thought the interior was a big step up from the g35. But when I started driving it...a bit disapointed. A "watered down" version is how I explained it. The clutch feel was COMPLETELY different, not to mention the auto rev-matching feature was foreign to me. I kept messing up down shifts because I couldnt stop the habitual throttle blipping. I still think thats awesome they gave you that as a loaner though, Infiniti is on the up and up.

in my honest opinion, I think the transmission and the throttle response are terrible on these sedans. The car has plenty of horsepower, but you can literally put yourself through a wall in a parking lot if you dont RE-LEARN how to drive these automatics.

It lags and then either feels like the acceleration is on or off. I love the power but the spongy shifting and pedal feel that just feels off makes it an easy car to pass on.

I love my car, but I hate giving up my loaner every time. It's really quiet and pulls really hard all the way through. I had to tell the salesman to leave me the hell alone after harassing me for 2 hours last time though.
