New to Infiniti's, please help

Hey guys. I just recently bought an 03 Infiniti G35 Coupe 6 Speed and I was driving on the freeway going 60 mph in fifth gear and all of the sudden I lost all power and it was bogging down on me. I pulled off to the side of the road and the car died on me. It is currenty sitting at the repair shop waiting to be looked at on Monday. I am wondering if you guys could give me any information of what I should expect it to be when they check it out. My check engine light was coming off and on prior to this occurrence. Thanks, and any info would be helpful. Thanks, Evan

i have a 04 G35 coupe and when i was driving on the highway my G all the sudden just shut down and i couldnt accelerate so i pulled over. I have the Check engine light on but my car started back up. so i went to the infiniti dealership and they said it was a bad throttle body so they replaced it and no problems ever since.(knock on wood). BTW i have a 5AT though so i dont think my post will do you any good but just wanted to share.

You can get a brand new TB from Riverside Infiniti for a little over $200. They are a vendor on Driver and have great prices and really good service to our members. Replacing it yourself would only take about 30-45 minutes with basic tools. It's very simple.

Didn't know it was that easy to replace. Yeah either battery or throttle body, although was your radio working when you turned off the highway?

Well guys...turned out that is not the problem. I had all six coils replaced, new plugs, and new cats. I am still having a misfire. I have an appointment at the dealership on Monday. I really hope this is something easy. So do you guys still think it is the throttle body?
