Tires replaced-solves the problem
That is good info about the car learning about the driving style but once on the lift with the wheels off it was obvious the inside edge of the left was seriously worn. It seems to have solved the issue.
I am having the same issue in my 04. I just replaced the rear tires last wednesday. Mine shut me down in a corner while daily driving. My front tires are fairly new. But, i guess i could see how the car would notice a difference in circumference between front and back. I hope mine fixes itself. I love to corner!

Haha I hate the VDC. I accelerated from a stoplight then made a left turn, tried to get a little fishtail, but to no avail. The VDC made me look like a civic driver trying to drift lmao. I turn mine off now.
Always leave the VDC on in the rain! Unless you are trying to spin your car or on a closed course. The rear breaks free incredibly easy (in a bad, uncontrolled way) in ANY amount of water.
turn it off, its a POS. Nissan over did it and it comes on way to easy.
Even running starspecs 245's( I have a sedan) all around It comes on going in a straight line.
If i were making a right turn on to a express way or even a 45 degree turn and needed any power to get on it cuts it off. which to me in unsafe.
Nissan figure it out and the new v36's vdc doesnt kick on nearly as hard at all. I think the vdc setting in the new ones lets you go faster more comparable to ur beamer.
Too many noobs so they didnt want people crashing all day in our v35s

Also, keep in mind that when you buy new tires, it takes a few hundred miles to wear off the slippery coating used to pull the newly formed tire from its mold.
You could be using a little too much throttle and the brand new rears are breaking loose while you barely feel it.

well to start off, vdc is a bit sensitive to begin with. another problem it could be is your tires. which may be worn, or you aren't using the proper tire size. and if you don't think its any of those it's probably just you.
all of my tires did it,
the stock tires that came on my car, michelins did it.
my good year gs'2 did it
my re-01 did it
and my starspecs did, but not as much.
Still kicks on easy. when I first got the car before i was used to the clutch and did a few fast shifts from 3-4 4-5 4-5 the slip would kick on on the freeway.
one thing i think is weid tho, when I drive my dads 03 auto. it doesnt seem as sensestive as my 05 5mt. are the autos less intrusive? or maybe the 03-04 less?
man. my prius that i rented didnt kick on as easy as the g35.

For some reason my G has vdc off light always on. It never shuts off. Vdc is still actually on, when pressing vdc button once will actually turn it off but the light never changes. Don't know what the problem is, have been stuck with this problem since I got it.
