It wasn't until I installed the upper strut bar/springs/shocks and endlinks did I notice a significant change in my cornering ability and that's always running Michelins on my coupe.

OK, granted... the stock shocks do suck that much. Even the sport suspension feels way too mushy for my taste, and I tend to forget that not everyone even had those from the factory! What settings are your sway bars at?

You can see my bracket coming off the radiator support to the left side of the box in the pic.

Great write up BTW!!

I should have gotten the 350Z version because the snorkel is several inches away from meeting up with the housing. I used metal strapping to connect the bracket to the tube. I must have done something very wrong but now I have the distinction of having the worst looking intake setup around.

Sorry I should have been clearer. I wanted to know if you installed each mod seperatly, z-tube on stock car, then intake on stock car no ztube, spacer with stock intake system.
B/c you said each gave a noticable intake growl, I was just wondering if the growl was from a full install or for each piece by it self.

thanks

You can hear your intake working a bit more with the Z-tube, but you can really hear the intake sucking in air after you swap out the box, sounding almost like a turbo spooling up. I don't think the spacer is going to make a huge difference on intake sound, at least I never noticed anything. But your car should sound just a bit more aggressive because it's getting better air flow into the motor altogether.

Communication is everything, know what i mean?
I installed each mod separately (a few days apart) but one on top of the other and I was able to judge each one on its own merits and also as a group mod. Hope that makes sense.

PM sean, SxExCx, has grounding kits with instructions. There is also a diy of making your own somewhere.

Well now I'm torn. I can do one more mod and then I need to slow the spending for a while. I need opinions please - would you get sways or HFCs next? They both sound worthwhile from what I am reading.

Since you've already done a couple of sound/performance mods, I'd go with the sways for some handling. Very effective mod, IMO.
