buying 06 headlights...need advice

hey guys, im buying 06 headlights on thursday for my coupe from a guy i foudn on craigslist. he was selling them for 450 so i offered him 380 and he took it. so my question to you guys is, how do i know if they work? before i buy them of course

you don't... i wouldn't even worry about it.. if he didn't advertise with the ballast and bulbs included, you can use yours... your only concern would be if it was a recalled headlights..

i am going to pick it up myself and he is including the ballasts and bulbs... so knowing that is there anything i can do to prevent myself from getting broken headlights?

Really the only thing that would cause them not to work would be bad ballasts, burnt bulbs or cut wires.... If you already have headlights on your car then you an reuse your ballasts and not worry about it. Sounds like you got a pretty good deal there.

alright thanks guys. i remembered somebody saying they upgraded to the 06 headlights and it wasthe best cosmetic upgrade they did to their car. so when i found this deal i figured why not

You can sell a set of your ballast and recover some of the cost for the projectors.
