homemade hikkatadori trunk?

Just working in a body shop, the thought of bondo anything makes me cringe.

Bondo would be a terrible idea. If you hit a bump hard enough the Bondo would probably crack and the hole lip would fall off. I started a project doing this. But what I did was get a large peice of styrafoam. And then shaved it down to the exact shape I wanted. In this case it was a replica of the hd lip. Then layed fiber glass over it. It was very light weight and felt solid. I sold it though before I. Finished. I'm going to be doing another though so ill make a thread.

what about if you bolt it in first to make sure it's nice and secure ?
thats what my paint guy did, he bolted the spoiler on for a nice tight fit before molding it.

Never Mold Anything!!!!
Bonding Epoxy is very strong. You would need a hammer and chisel to remove it.
