is this ok?

so i ate through the crappy toyo tires that were on my car when i bought it. but i ordered some hankook evo v12's about a week ago. still waiting for them to come in. theyre 275/35 on my stock 19's. now before i had 255/40 in the rear. the fronts are the stock 225/40. am i ok leaving the fronts at 225 and putting the 275's on the rear on the oem 19's? i would think so but im just makin sure. cause those are gonna be some fat tires in the back

Yeah I think you should be good, but might throw off your vdc.

Wow, those will not fit at all. They are going to look like clown shoes man.

You're also going to confuse your VDC, You're almost an inch and half taller in the rear than the front, not only will the tire bulge over the edge of the wheel but it's also going to rake your car.

This is going to look really weird, you should have researched this before purchasing the tires.

275's can be squeezed on the rear but I would not recommend it. Both these links have your answers:

I bought a set of OEM 19's to use as a spare set - the guy who sold them to me had 275/35's on the rear - they do fit, but depending on your ride height and whether or not your fenders are rolled they may get chewed up on the sidewall by the fender.

So to answer your question - yes they will fit. But just because they fit doesn't mean it's good... I agree with the other posts - it just doesn't look right at all.

Whats with people buying tires that don't fit. Some people like to buy extra skinny tires so their oversize wheel can barely fit the G w/o scraping, and some people like to buy extra fat tires to make their skinny tires look wider.

One setup looks like it has gum disease and the other setup looks like the gums are swollen,

ok so end result is...the 275's actually match up better to the 225's than the 255's did and now i have a fat *** haha but i smelled some tire after my trek home. and my rear rim is bent a little so in about hopefully a month ill have some new rims and im gonna check into the whole rubbing in the rear. idk if my fenders are being hit or not yet. they are new tires so theyre gonna be stanky thanks for the input guys

Yea, there are members here that claim 275s on OE wheels works! Question, what purpose does putting over sized tires on your G serve? If you want to make your G handle better put 245s on the front/back when running OE wheels. I've never understood why Nissan puts smaller tires on the front when that's where 51% of the weight is....illogical.

So the car will understeer rather then oversteer, just about every manufacturer does it so their sportier cars are safer for the ordinary driver.

Yeah these are some fat tires haha bur I went with this setup because it actually fits my 225's better and I wanna have thicker tires for my rims I'm gonna get soon. I'm going with some raderwerks staggered 19's. Have a 2 inch flat lip so they'll look nasty
