I have an 2004 Coupe. 103,000 miles. What is the warranty on rust. I thought I remember it got extended?

Can anyone confirm this? I've got some rust starting on my rear fender lip that I'd like to fix before it spreads any further.

I tried to get Infiniti to repair rusting on my quarter panel with no luck. The rust cannot be weather related such as salt from the roads. Also, any previous bodywork or paint will void this portion of the warranty.

That is exactly where mine is rusting!
Also some parts of the rear suspension!
Last Infiniti I ever buy. Garage kept, babied.

My 2001 Acura with 218,000 has no rust what so ever!

My G is at the shop right now. I'm guessing the lip on the quarter panel builds up dirt and debris from the road which will eat away at the paint. I'll try to keep it clean from now on especially up north with the salt and snow. FWIW I'm paying $650 to repair and repaint both quarter panels.
