Im in NJ and getting my car tinted in long island over the weekend. just wondering if some of you guys could post pictures of ur various window tint percentages? i know its illegal to do my fronts but im going to take my chances anyway bc i love how it looks tinted. i was planning on going 35%. let me know what you think. also post some pics, especially if you have DG. thanks a lot.

where are you getting it done? i got mine done a little over a week ago. i went with 20% all around, except windshield. i'd say go as dark as you want, but no darker than 28% or 35% on the windshield. driving at night in the rain with the windsheld tinted is really hard.

i took a few pics this weekend, i'll post some when i'm home from work.

Yo, I went with 40% tints. Obviously, it's a subtle tint, but I wanted to go for a clean look without the hassle of being pulled over by cops.

ventural, do u have a reflective type tint? it looks silverish to me.

I did mine 5% all around except the windshield. I love the way the car looks. I haven't had any trouble with the cops yet, had it for about two months.
Had a hard time driving for about two weeks then got used to it.

 

go 35%, I was going to go 20 but I didnt want to hassle with the cops or driving at night it sucks when the tint is to dark. In the day its just perfect and at night its dark.

 

No, its a 'charcoal' color (aka black). It looks a little different in person and at different angles but not Silver or as reflective like it seems in the pics.

 

I actually decided to go with Huper Optik 30%......going by G Squad's feedback its the best film out there

what does everybody think of lighter fronts and darker back and small side panels? something like 25 in the backs and 35% in the front windows? is that ghetto or alright in ur opinion? i think its kinda gay personally but i might go that rout bc of the bastard jersey cops...>
