Rebuilt title means what? Maybe Salvage title makes more sense.

I remember the day I have started this thread. I haven't checked it for a while and i decided to type my first year experience with my rebuilt G.

Well I should say that rebuilt title does not mean anything bad. Nothing happened to my car in a year. Everything is great, just like other g drivers i am in love with my G too. Engine is working like a champ, electronics are still the same. The only problem is somebody keyed my baby and that scratch hurt me alot but still it is not related to have a rebuilt title car. But you know, everything happens for a reason, i think i have become a touch up paint expert

It was my first car, i was dumb a little but i can say that my next car probably will be a "rebuilt title g37" in future. I have seen that spending tons of money on a used car s pointless. So this year I spent with my car proved that everything depends on you and the maintainence.

Well i am happy, no regrets i think it was the best decision that i made in my life. Hopefully I will drive it for 5 more years and i will keep impress people

Just remember for future purchasee rebuild doesnt always mean rebuilt right or back to factory . To get a cars title rebuild is not hard even it theres still major problems with it . You dont always get lucky like you did here . I would never buy a rebuilt car unless i did the work to get it rebuilt . Most rebuilders cut corners to save money when selling it . Next time at least have a autobody tech look over the car as well as mechanic . Glad it worked out for you this time and you got a good deal . I believe the seller however by law must state that its a rebuilt title .

This is true, mine was clean, but the front and rear bumper are clearly repainted, if not, replaced at a body shop. I just ripped off a big chunk of paint off the front bumper with a pressure washer further proving it wasn't a factory painted bumper or paint. Factory paint is way tougher.

A aftermarket paint job is just as tough as factory if its done correctly . Sounds like they didnt prep the bumper before spraying it if i came off with a pressure washer . If a bodyshop did it they should be shut down . I pressure wash my custom painted car every few weeks without a problem .
