OEM 19in forged wheel color code / name for matching powder coat?

guys, i'm interested in powder coating a set of the Infiniti OEM 19 inch forged wheels from a 2005 G35 coupe. i got the wheels cheap (minor curb damage) and was originally thinking of PCing them gloss black but i'm now considering 'restoring' them to the OEM color/like new condition.

i have a PC supplier that will 'match' to paint codes, however the body shop can not shoot the wheel with the analyzer because there is not sufficient flat surface...so i have no code to match to.

does anyone know the name of the OEM wheel color, better yet the OEM paint code, or even better yet an OEM matched PC supply?????

also i have seen some nice photo shop work from you guys...anyone photo shop a silver 2004 G35 coupe (like this one http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:20...-G35-coupe.jpg ) with the 2005 19inch forged OEM wheel in gloss black...i would love to see it????

Thanks!!

Best way is to contact the dealership. The dealership repainted my wheel 3 days after I bought it when I noticed a very small 'nick' on the front passenger wheel.

Looks brand new and matched perfectly.

If that shop can't figure out how to match it, I would find a different shop.

Dealership might be the best bet. When I was looking for colour codes, I was having a hell of time tracking it down. I never did get a colour code that was 100% but colours that are very close....

Silver Charcoal Metallic (BFM0236) - Ford Code 1q

or Dupli-Colour DSFM236

So yeah...i'm planning on using the flap wheel (proven tech.) to polish out the minor curb rash before chem strip, blast and PowderCoat with my buddy Miles at MotoFab in Bristol VT!!

close paint codes are a great start...thx!

I did contact my local dealer but they were not able to help to spite an honest try. Does anyone here work at a dealer or know of an enthusiast/performance oriented shop that may be willing to help with paint codes???

I believe the color is hypersilver. I think remember reading that there is no paint code for it, as it is a multistep process. Don't quote me on that though
