opinions on these painted taillights

sup guys...i was going through an old thread and came upon this pic of a dg coupe with color matched taillights. personally, i think they look **** on that particular ride even though it does have a fugly wing.

anyway, i was wanting to know if these would look good on my 06 dg coupe with a strafe trunk and cspeed rear. i just cant decide if its the fact that its a night time pic or if that ugly wing is providing good contrast thats makes them so appealing to me. what do you think?

i personally dont like them. also i think they would take away from the contrast the strafe trunk would give you.

I don't like those tail lights. They look tacky. Keep them the way they are. Don't bother tinting it either. I had mine tinted for like 2 months. When I removed them, I noticed how much better they are plain.

Look up Patman's G35, he has the CS rear and is DG and is one of the best examples for a G35.

I don't think you'll find anyone who likes those here..

Tastefully smoked and that's it.

That wing is heinous, Idk how its stable with only one mounting point.

But that body kit is actually popular, at least the rear is, see looots of people running it in conjunction with other kits.

If you do decide to do an overlay like that, let me switch tails with you and you can do it to the 03-05 tails. I wouldn't waste that on a set of 06-07 tails, it takes way the design and appeal of them.

I think it looks cool. To each his own. I wouldn't hate if you did it
