What Is This ? Rubber Band With Arrow In It, my air con not working since bose stereo

Ok, what is this?

I pulled dash apart to swap my bose cd changer over after it failed as most do. somewhere along the line my air con got disrupted and now only blows hot air unless i switch it to manual mode or auto mode once at 18degrees (coldest setting) anything above this is warm....

Only other things changed are z-tube / pop charger and plenum spacer but they were not on before this started happening.

The only thing not plugged back in is this rubber band thing that i remember coming off under the glove box area off the dash... Any suggestions???

isn't that from the throttle body?

it's the seal you replace when you clean/replace your throttle body right?

Ok i watched a cleaning throttle body video and didnt see them take off a seal that looks like that.

I did notice under the steering wheel where that little panel is there is a thin plug not plugged into anything. Ill go check it out. But that thread explains my situation perfectly ! LEGEND guys !!! Thanks, ill let you know how i go

That is definitely not from the throttle body. It has a metal gasket the goes between the TB and the neck of the plenum and it looks nothing like the rubber band thing.
