I saw the Billboard and it had a IP color G35 with no spoiler and those new rims. In a way it does look similar (the 2005 Coupe)

 

the front has a mix of the bmw headlights and the suburu grill.. and g35c door handles.. that's about it.. i like their signal mirrors and their sky light sunroof. i would get one if i was in high school with a whatever job


In addition, I think the grill is also kind of audi'ish with the lower grill opening. The hood lines remind me of a Volvo S60/80. It might be the light, but the side panels appear to have a crease that runs down the length of the car, like the Acura TSX.

 

The worst part is the ugly rims on the 2005 G35 Coupe help them look even more similar since they are similar to the rims on the Tc.

 

So some of you think these cars look similar???

I have seen the new Scion on the street and it looked nice and seems to be a good car for the money. But it would never be mistaken for a G coupe!!! Come on !!!

 

you're in denial. it does look similar. but it cannot be mistaken for a G. but it looks good too anyway.

maybe you have a higher standard than others here for use of the word 'similar'?

 

Which color ad did you see the white one or the blue one?

Well, you proved my point........

similar = closely resembling, implies the possibility of being mistaken for each other.

So G vs. Scion = not similar

They are both coupes - that's about all that is in common.
