NEED HELP!! Dillemma between 05 and 06 coupe manual

Hi, I am trying to get one of these these two coupes.

These are as follows

2006 with 39K miles

NO premium package
couple mods: full kenstyle body kit, JWT pop charger intake, APS true dual cat back exhaust, front strut bar. factory forged rays 19" wheels, 2 Alpine type R 10" subwoofers front speakers are Alpine Type R components both amps are Alpine, AVN726 which provides DVD NAV bluetooth USB Ipod Aux MP3 DIVX back up cam

he is trying to sell it for 19K.

2005 coupe with 30K miles

NEED HELP!! Dillemma between 05 and 06 coupe manual-getattachment1.jpg

with premium package, no NAVI
just changed a new clutch and new tires.
selling for 18K plus tax and registration since he is a dealer.

I am torn by decision to make between these two.

I like the 06 better because it has some mods even with a little higher mileage.
However, 05 has less mileage. I think I can bring the price down for both
to around 18K.

I dunno if the dealer is gonna let me have 18K otd price..

He is eager to sell it to me by today since its the last day of the month
and he said he has to sell just one more..

Please tell me in the long run, which car would be great.
I am planning on having the car for long and gradually work on my car.

Thanks!

also i heard about oil consumption issue regarding rev up engine.
is that for 06 model only? or for both.
And what is the best way to check if i dont have that issue with the car?
shoul i take it to an inifiniti shop and let the mechanic take a look at it?

06 and 07 rev matches when down shifting aka one less thing you have to do when shifting

The 05 6MT has the rev-up engine also.

Both. You can go to the delership and have the OC test done.

Personally, I would go for the newer of the two. Not a big fan of that dody kit though.

All 05-07 g35 with the 6mt have the rev-up engine which means that it has 298hp vs 280 on the normal engine plus the redline is @ 7000rpm vs 6500rpm on the normal engine. I dont think mileage is a big deal at all. Another thing is the 06-07 has projector headlights that actually look a lot nicer and the rear spoiler is different (you gonna need one on the 06). I have an 05 g35 6mt myself and I spent $450 upgrading to 06 projectors so I will tell you to go with the 06 you can always make some money out of the upgrades for example the popcharger. the stock intake box with a z tube and a drop-in filter works a lot better than the popcharger since is not sucking all that heat from the engine bay.

seriously tho does the g ( all mt models/years) have some kind of auto rev matching feature cus when i read the manual and it was explaining how to shift it basically says to shift and release the clutch slowly but doesnt mention rev matching with the gas pedal so i was curious so i tried it and it does do some kind of rev matching on its own lol. not saying i actually do this i was jus trying it out . is this common for all cars or jus the g? btw this is my first mt car so anything i do/learn on this car im thinking its normal and all mt cars operate this way lol
