Any Tall 6mt owners out there.

Man do I wish I were shorter sometimes, I probably would of got a Z instead. I'm 6,3 maybe taller and this car fits like a glove, a tight glove. I have had it for about 4 years now but I just wish the seat could go back more. If I had an auto it would be no problem but the clutch pedal is just so high.

Anybody out there no of any mods besides adjusting the clutch pedal, I'm kinda afraid to adjust the pedal since I just put in a new clutch and flywheel. I would of probably got an 08 G37 but it's the same story. I guess this car is not meant for tall people.

I am 6'8 and did the drivers seat mod (can't remember where its at on here). It basically lowered my seat about a half of an inch. I drive a 6MT and have no problems at all with shifting.

The only problem is that my hair when spiked up touches the roof.

I'm 6'4". Just barely fit. Would love to see a link to the seat lowering thread. I have added a lumbar support roll in the angle of the seat and seat back. This helps me a lot.

My big concern is that I'm hoping to do a track day event soon and I don't think I'll fit in there with a helmet on. Anyone with a link to the seat lowering trick please post it!

George

One some of these guys have an auto which is not the problem I'm talking about when you have a manual you legs can't full extend and sit comfortable. For one the clutch pedal is higher than any of the other pedals.

^^^ exactly ... It's only the clutch that becomes a struggle sometimes ... Ill probably look into the seat drop as well

Thanks for the link herrschaft, you made my day!

Platelock, there are different body types right? A lot depends on leg length vs waist height. Somebody with long legs and average waist height would have trouble clutching and reaching the gear shift. Someone with a long waist and average legs would have trouble with head clearance but not how far back the seat goes. When you go into the Air Force it used to be that they measured your sitting height to see if you would fit in a fighter. Total height is not the whole story.

I also have an 07 x sedan. No problem fitting in it. 03 F150 Supercrew has more room than I need. 2000 Maxima, plenty of room.

Just did the easy $0 fix for tall people and absolutely love it. here's the thing folks...I'm not tall , in fact i'm only 5'11. You see, I love my G however I always felt it did not capture the full sports car feel because the seat are too high. After taking 15 minutes with the mod I feel completely sunk in the seat and found that complete sports car appeal. yes i know g35coupes are luxury sports cars, but IMO I look at it as a sports car. If you want a Z type feel try it you'll like it.
