If the car was in gear, how the hell did they tow it? The rear wheels would be locked correct?

And since the car was out of commission, he can make the claim that the radiator was busted before he towed it.

i think he is trying to claim that the radiator was broken prior but when i asked the tow truck driver what was the reason for him pulling over on the highway, he said he heard a pop and saw steam.... he initially thought he bust the rad on his tow truck but it actually was my car

that is horrible, the company owes you a G35

I think the tow driver just made a bull**** about the radiator because a radiator is cheaper than transmission. maybe whatever catch his attention and stopped was the transmission locked up or something like that and he tried to fake it as radiator problem?

I would say the radiator is the least of your worries.

ya thats true but its just the principle that i want to prove to them that the rad is also a part of their negligent towing

Sounds like both parties are idiots... your DAD'S car needed to be towed... why wasnt he there? Where were you? You see someone hooking up a RWD by the front tires you say something. People are morons these days they dont know RWD from AWD from FWD.

Shoulda flatbedded it

Exactly why I will never let anyone touch any of my vehicles.

They f*cked up, go thru their insurance, if they wont, get a lawyer

I would get legal help before trying to go through anyone's insurance. Now the car should be taken to the DEALERSHIP to be inspected for any damage made by the towing.

Maybe you don't have serious issues, end of the day You are a consumer not an attorney. You don't know how the law works. You just drive the car and enjoy it for what it is. Insurance company can very quickly take the car to a second hand place and fit your car with USED and/or beat up equipment and call it quits because they want to save money.

im not a engine expert but the whole top piece of the rad burst open... the tow truck company takes responsibility for the engine and tranny but not the rad even tho the rad burst on him while he was towing it. so i have to prove to him that the rad wasnt ****ed prior to him towing it even tho the tow truck driver said that the reasin he pulled over on the highway was because he heard a pop and saw steam coming from my engine... is it possible that he left it in first on second gear causing the engine to heat up which ultimately lead to the rad busting at the top??
