What braces fit with the Skunk2 (5/8") Spacer and do they also fit with the plenum cover? I really do not want to remover the cover which means I will have to Polish the plenum! OR what spacer and brace is recommended here.

The upper strut bar is a great mod especially when combined with aftermarket sways. You can turn on a dime with almost zero body lean, being lowered helps too....

Typical setup is MotorDyne 5/16" spacer with a gt spec strut bar. You'll still be able to use your engine cover.

So; Motor Dyne it is, but which one( Basic, ISO Thermal or Copper)?

And 3rick35c you bring up an other point about NRG; are their hood dampers any good?

Well if your living in Indiana I would go with atleast the iso-thermal, the copper iso-thermal is suggested if it snows in your area.

GT Spec strut bar helps but its very minor. If you're going to get sways, remember to get new endlinks as well since your oem ones are liable to become worn prematurely.

Get the MotorDyne 5/16" ISO Copper Spacer and you can keep that OE engine cover and even use most upper strut bars that are adjustable and installed correctly.... No, if you get aftermarket sways also buy the adjustable endlinks, that keeps the bitch tight & flat!

I do live in Indiana but the car will NOT be driven in the winter, so which one is the best.
