Engine bay cover?

Absoloutly no clue what to call this... hence, not able to search for it. So if I am double posting something I am sorry.

I have seen in pictures many times.. Ie. Picture attached. A cover over the driver side rear of the engine bay. Basically covering everything behind what I can only describe as a 2nd firewall.

On my car its completely open. Anyone know where to buy that piece? Or what it is called?

Thanks

That's called a right hand battery cover. They came stock on the JDM version of our cars and can be purchased, among other places, from Riverside Infiniti or eBay.

Also called the brake fluid cover. Just check out our vendor marketplace.

Thanks for the info! I felt lost trying to search for something I didn't know the name of.

I suppose with this thread title, this question may be appropriate...

If the engine cover is removed, is more heat readily dissipated than with it on?

I actually trimmed mine outside the rib and worked the rubber trim covering over it, makes it a bit more secure (though it's surprisingly so anyway, considering how little is holding it on)

"considering how little is holding it on" Yup. Not much to attach to there. What are others doing? Any DIY link?
