I think you're going to have a hard time getting the trunk to fit perfectly. Seems to be a common problem with a lot of the aftermarket trunks. Some people have removed the trunk struts to get them to fit better. Can you loosen the screws of the hinges and move the trunk slightly? Might be a 2 person job though.

Overall it looks like it fits OK as is.

Strafe trunk? I have had the same problem with mine, I took out the struts, and played for a few hours unbolting the mounting bracket and shifting the trunk forwards/backwards/left/right and still wasn't able to get it to be 100% perfect... I move it so many times that now one of the screw holes is pretty much stripped so although the screw holds it can't be really remove and inserted anymore...

Yours looks like mine, the driver side not sitting flush correct? Unless there is just absolutely some minuscule spot lining up on the brackets where it fits perfectly, it looks like strafe's trunk mold may not be absolutely perfect.

Oh and yes I tried working with the latch on the trunk as well as raising and lowering the locking mechanism on the car itself. The 2 screws are easily accessible if you pull up the plastic at the back of the trunk facing outwards.

I have the same problem on my driver side too. I thought about taking the shocks out but i guess that doesnt totally fix anything.

hmm ya I didn't know if it was just me, hopefully dustin can chime in and let us know if there is a specific way to set it to correct this, or if it is something wrong due to the mold or such...

edit: here are my pics (sorry for quality they are off my phone)
Passenger side sits well

Driver side is off...

Depressing the trunk with my weight gets it to where it should be but unfortunately adjusting with the hinges and locking latch to try to get this fit without my weight on it causes the trunk to be able to latch closed.

Looking at the GB thread it looks like a few others on there might have the same problem I am having to some extent such as: XxHotelCrazyxX, PoorG35's G, Silencer 0 all having the driver lower back corner of the trunk by the taillights not coming down correctly and lining up. Guess it's the mold and there isn't anything we can do about it.

But judging by what the OP stated, just shifting the trunk left or right can be mostly done by moving the brackets.

Xet, mine looks pretty much the same as yours.
Im curious if other trunk owners before the group buy has this fitment issue. It seems like only people from the group buy do so far..

^^ Mine sat the same way when I had my trunk on. I just got over it, since that was the best that it fit.

I'll tell you one thing tho... Strafe's trunk is a hell of a lot better design and quality then the DoriLuxe. After owning the Strafe trunk and seeing the DoriLuxe in person, I would take Strafe's trunk hands down. That is just my opinion tho.

Ahh damn, I asked Dustin to take a look at the thread and he thought this wasn't a problem for people who had them installed at a shop. And also he restated they don't guarantee 100% fitment.

Although it is kinda sad since this trunk would be extremely good if only they fixed the mold on the driver's side...
