Re: Coupe vrs S4
S4 dosent have much room over the G35 coupe. My cousin has one it has more head room but the back it pretty small. The car is nice blue outside with black and blue interior. The cars is fast as hell but G35C 6psd comes pretty close in performance. You chance the muffler or add a cai u can take the S4 with no problem.

Are you talking about the old S4 or the upcoming new S4? The new S4 looks to be a very nice car. And the new engine is simply awesome. About 340 naturally aspirated V8 horsepower with no engine weight gain over the old V6 twin turbo. Awesome.
And I grow tired of people saying you can just throw an exhaust and intake on some car and "beat" some other car. It just doesn't seem fair to compare *any* stock car to *any* modified car. If you spend $1000 in mods on your G35, why not also spend $1000 on the S4, and *then* do the comparison to see who "wins"? For about $500 you can get an APR chip for the S4 (or GIAC, or any other brand chip you want) and put it up to 307hp/366lb-ft at 91 octane. With 93 octane, you get 318hp/382lb-ft. All that for 500 bucks. If you want to spend more you can get downpipes and an exhaust system. Heck, if you want to spend six grand, you can get APR's stage 3 kit and put the S4 up to 412 horsepower and 482 foot-pounds of torque. Of course, you can get a big fat turbo kit for the G35 when they come out. Or buy a damn Civic and turn it into a 10 second drag car.
You see how futile it is to compare modified cars. It just goes back and forth. Modifications are virtually endless. For every mod some guy does to a car, another guy will have a faster mod for another car. There will always be more money to spend and more speed to attain. Once you talk aftermarket parts, just about any car can be faster than any other car.

The S4 is an awesome car. Slap some K04s on there and your car will be filthy fast. You can hit the 12s on pump gas. Even with just a chip and exhaust will give you impressive power. My friend hit a 13.0 at California Speedway (1000ft elevevation) in 105+ degree weather with just the GIAC XR Chip and a cat back exhaust (stock downpipes). Audi's are fun cares, and if they had better customer service, I would still have one.

Re: Coupe vrs S4
Good call jreiter on the upcoming S4- it is targeted directly at the M3 and C32 AMG. In C&D's comparo in this month's issue, guess what- the new S4 stomps the other two. However, as pointed out elsewhere- that's a whole different snack bracket. While my pocketbook was able to cover a G, the S4 would only be do-able if we sold my wife's Accord. And with any of these cars, it's nice to have a daily commuter for the utility. The price diff between a G and an S4 almost enough to buy another car.
