Wtf happened with your car? Having to replace basically the entire drivetrain before 75k miles?

its an 05 6speed. bought it with 43,5k on it. whoever had it before me drove the thing into the ground and it finally got to the point where I had to replace the clutch which i have never seen a clutch so worn out and the flywheel. the trans was replaced under warranty due to a noise that they couldnt diagnose. probably was a gimme. and i know 33$ isnt much but im just sick of all the riding around to delaerships, the random noises, and never knowing whats going to happen next. id rather save money on my payment, gas and have peace of mind in a brand new car knowing that i dont have to worry about things like i do with my G. I love the car and have always wanted a G but im 20 years old and can always buy another once im out of school. gonna be tough letting it go though

edit: getting a 2011 nissan sentra SE-R Spec V. pretty cool car, good enough to get me through the next few years of school.

Sounds like it is time to dump this one. They're great cars but a lemon is a lemon. I got my 06 with 75k miles on it. Its got a lot of squeaks and rattles but still performs well. I think it got a new clutch just before I bought it. Anyway, look for another one that is a little newer and has a little fewer miles on it. Despite the little problems on mine I really love driving it....especially compared to the F150 I was driving every day.

Look for a used 07 g35 or an 08 g37

You gotta do what you gotta do

Just get something that will last you and not give so many problems thats why i dont deal with dealerships if your going to get a ride it would b better to save up and get it from a auction thats what i did

the G is gone everyone. lovin my 2011 spec V. not a g35 but still a fun car. Thanks for all the opinions. Hopefully ill be back with another G when i graduate in a few years

congratulation for your new purchase. Sentra is a more ideal college student car than a G35

How is gas mileage even a factor when you buy a sports coupe that is required to run on premium?! If you really care that much, go buy a civic.

This is my 3rd year in college. 1st year with the G is coming up in two weeks. As far as college and the G coupe... FTMFW! Turns heads every time i drive through campus. Plus there are only 4 coupes around here, and I am the only CB one.
