not so true. this really is a steal. Ive seen the dyno sheet and receipts for the parts and he took no short cuts and took his time building this beauty. plus its 1 of 1000 made of its particular R32 model! oh almost forgot the hp is in the 800-900 range. now i may be wrong but for what he’s asking for this is what i paid for my G which has around 300hp. now if youre comparing 300hp vs 900hp both at $20k. which would u take? better yet. how much would u spend to get 900 hp in a G? its unfathomable - to me. (not trying to be rude or anything just making a comparison)

You're also buying a car that's 15 years old and I don't know how well it would smog at 800hp, I can't imagine it being smog friendly nor cop friendly, even if it is legal you'll prob get pulled over and harassed a lot. In my opinion the G is a lot more luxurious and more pleasant to drive, but if you're looking for strait speed, why not? haha as much as I want a skyline I can't see myself getting one, even at 20k. Now an R34.... haha I'd still rather go for an NSX if I was going to buy a used japanese supercar.

Also think, if you were a girl, which car would you rather get into???

I say if you have the money get it. If you cant get it legalized then you can wrap it in saran wrap for the next 30 yrs and watch the prices sky rocket. lol

i was stationed in Japan for 2yrs and had an R33, it's really not worth it. i would not pay 20k for a car i would constantly have to worry about getting seized. wasn't a fan of right-hand-drive either. you can get a really nice car out there for well under 10k. i payed $2500 for my R33 and my boy payed like $900 for his R32, i'm sure our cars weren't as nice as the one ur looking at but you get the point.

A car with 900hp (esp one that old) will need constant tuning (and repair)

I hope your not expecting a carefree ride.

well im in alabama - theyre gonna 100x more concerned about back taxes than the smog test lol - ive never head of anyone in al having a smog test done. & im w/ you on the R34 and NSX - both extremely sweet cars. and as far as the the ladies. if my G, the bike or the R32 isnt workin - I might just hang it up!

yes being seized is my only concern. that or stolen. here in al. its more likely to get stolen by a crackhead. taken to atl and parted out and never heard of again. very common scenario here.

i know i originally told you to just go to the dmv and talk to them but if ur gunna spend 20k on it why not dump that 20k into your g...should be able to match the hp and still have money left over to do something else to the g. when you said it was a steal i thought you meant it was about 1/4 of the price...

12k?! that will be closer to 20k after you go and get it u.s. legal. drop that 12k in your g. guarenteed to go fast and still have the bennefits such as heated seats and auto dimming mirrors, if done right it should have enough power to **** on a skyline
