Legalizing a skyline

I have come across a 94 Skyline Gtr (which is the R32). it does not have a title. i have ran every vin number on the car chasis/frame/engine - nothing pulls up. so heres my question. since it doesnt EXIST in america and is here under our lovely gov’t radar. how would i go about getting it street legal so i can get a tag?!!

any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

I've read something about this once and the guy who legalized his skyline had to document his whole build. So basically, I think you have to have the papers on everything you do and put into the car.

so in theory a list of what the car has. and saying “I built it” should in theory get it legalized? i dont know if i understand completely what you mean.

Save your money. 80% of JDM cars are complete pieces of trash. They're littering our streets in Canada.

It was a a thread on a forum, I think it was "Houston-Imports." The guy had a shell of a skyline i believe and he every part he bought, he had the receipt or somehthing. And he documented his build to show proof he built it. Lemme try to look for it

i think you have to bring it in pieces and build it and title it as a kit car...just off the top of my head...ive seen them doing it mainly in Cali to my understanding and there was a guy in Orlando that has done it back in the day but the Gov. cracked on him
