happen 2 me. waited 3 days then it went away. they told me it was the gas cap but it was fine.

I have a question to where to get the codes read.

My autozone said they don't do that no more

so where yall go to get it for free

Yeah my car feels perfectly fine and I do all the maintenance early. We'll see in a bit going to head to the shop now.

I pulled a P0455, he took it off and told me if it comes back then he'll look further into it.

p0455 is an evap leak. more than likely your gas cap. IF you replace it...get an OEM one, not aftermarket! if your car is an 03 i believe there is an ecm reprogram for an evap code. but youd have to go to the dealer for that.

What exactly is an ECM reprogram for the evap code?

obv for the 03 model g/fx there was somethin in the ecm software that wasnt in tune for the evap system.....maybe too sensitive or short of a variable so the light sets off easily?
