My stupid window

Hey guys my passenger side window is giving me problems

I have a 04 g coupe.

I hear the click when i try to roll it down, but the window doesn't move. Now sometimes when it actually does roll down, it rolls up really slowly...Is this gonna cost me a lot to fix?

We have it here: http://www.grubbsperformanceparts.com

Not too bad if you fix it yourself. I believe it usually takes the shop guys an hour to replace one.

Your window isn't "Stupid" it doesn't have a brain...lol The fault lies in the poor quality window "Motors" that Nissan uses, probably made by the same company that makes their piston rings. How many ways are there to spell "Failure!"

I took it too the shop and they charged us 1000. So I just took it home and I did it myself, ended up buying a new window motor. Took an hour to replace.

To the shop, are you refering to the Infiniti stealership? That does sound like what they charge for an hours work plus new window motor....

What do you mean by their piston rings?:S

I just paid 40k for one to do competitive drifting in lol. Its not gona blow up on me first time out is it?:S

Hopefully the 35k of nismo gear it apparently had when coming over from japan is in the motor internals as i cant really see it in the rest of the car
